We waited and waited but no mantas showed, there just were not enough plankton in the water. After about ten minutes Keller lead us out to do some exploring. We saw slipper lobsters, they were easy to find, you could see their little red eyes glowing from inside a crevice in the coral when the light hit them. We also saw eels and other fishes, but no octopus as I had hoped.

On the boat ride back the divemaster showed us one of the lobsters he caught. I was not quite dead , it barely moved when I handled it, but when I gave it to the German man it jumped, he yelled, the lobster fell at the feet of the french woman and she started screaming, literally uncontrollably.

Murry was the boat captain last year. He look a little rough around the edges, Tom said he looked like a pirate, but he was a nice guy just like the other divemasters.
