Aruba May 2021
The California lighthouse is located on the northern tip of the island. It is a short drive north from Palm Beach. The view is amazing from the top of the lighthouse.
Bonaire 2019
I found a restaurant in town that had kegs of Belgium beer. I stopped in daily for my glass of real Belgium beer. It was very good.
San Salvador Bahamas 2018
On the way back we heard a commotion in the water. We turned around and the Club Med GOs were pushing a boat through the water. They were handing out rum punch. It was a nice surprise and we had never seen anything like this at the other Club Meds.
Roatan 2017
I had a bucket list experience on the way to the Odyssey. A pod of dolphins joined us, and a couple other dive boats, on our trip to the dive site. They rode the wave at the bow of the boat and when we slowed down they darted between dive boats swimming on their side and looking up at us when they got close to the boat.
Turks and Caicos 2017
When we were here two years ago we had great diving. We saw sharks on every dive and many large grouper. The diving was fairly easy. We had to be at the dive shop by 7:30 am and we were usually back by noon or 1 pm.
Cozumel 2011
The second dive site didn’t have a name, it was just a location between Francesca and Dehlia dive sites. This was another dive with a lot of current. At one point I saw a large eagle ray up current from me feeding off on the sea bottom.
Isla Mujeres 2007
The best ambiance was at Casa O’s, it is an open-air restaurant located on the ocean. YOu could see Cancun from our table.

On the boat ride back the divemaster showed us one of the lobsters he caught. I was not quite dead , it barely moved when I handled it, but when I gave it to the German man it jumped, he yelled, the lobster fell at the feet of the french woman and she started screaming, literally uncontrollably.
